The N-Peace Awards 2014: Join the search for inspirational stories of peace in Asia!Mar 24, 2014
Bangkok, March 24: The N-Peace Awards shine a light on the tireless and often unrecognized efforts of both women and men who work with communities across Asia to achieve lasting peace.
In its fourth year, N-Peace is excited to announce two new countries – Pakistan and Myanmar – and four new categories in the 2014 N-Peace Awards.
The achievements of women at the grassroots will continue to be celebrated with the ‘Untold stories – women transforming their communities’ awards that are selected online by the public.
The four new categories will recognize work by the media, by a peace mobilizer at the national or regional level, by a young peacebuilder, and by an organization with a successful and innovative approach to community peacebuilding.
Nominations are opening on 31 March.
We encourage you to applaud the efforts of women and men in your community who strive for peace by nominating them for a 2014 N-Peace Award!
