CLOSED: UNDP Asia Pacific launches #RHDR2016 Twitter Contest

Apr 22, 2016

The UNDP Asia Pacific Bureau today announced a Twitter contest that awards the winners with an internship opportunity. This work experience is professional and academic in nature, offering insight into the substance and daily operations of the United Nations Development Programme world.

What do you have to do?

We have developed and identified nine ideas for sustainable development in our region. Click here to check them out. In a Tweet, tell us what would be, in your opinion, your country's solution to its development and population challenges.

Each Tweet must include the official hashtag #RHDR2016 of the Regional Human Development Report, containing UNDP’s proposed solutions to demographic challenges in the region. You can also create an infographic to support your message.

Selection Criteria:
    ▪       The Tweets with the highest number of Retweets qualifies you to enter the shortlist
    ▪      In line with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals
    ▪      Must be a coherent, clear and concise development idea
    ▪      Must include the hashtag #RHDR2016 to be considered
    ▪    UNDP reserves the right to make the final selection

We would love to hear what your solution is!

Be Creative! Be Concise! Be Innovative!

All internships are subject to UNDP's internship entry criteria which can be accessed HERE. To qualify, you have to be enrolled in an academic programme in an Asia Pacific country or territory where UNDP has a Country Office presence. For the full list, click here.

The Twitter competition will run from 22 - 29 April (11:59 GMT) with the winner to be announced in May.
