"Promoting a Fair Business Environment in ASEAN" project's First Private Sector Advisory Group Meeting

April 9, 2019

Singapore, 10 April 2019

As part of the “Promoting a Fair Business Environment in ASEAN” project, UNDP seeks to promote business integrity and encourage responsible business practices by engaging directly with the private sector and facilitate dialogues between the various stakeholders, including with governments and civil society. To help guide this effort, the project has invited corporate governance and sustainability experts to join the “Private Sector Advisory Group” (PSAG) to advise UNDP on its engagement in this area.

The PSAG meets for the first time on 10 April 2019 at Singapore Sustainability Academy to help UNDP identify regional priorities and issues related to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 16 on peace, justice for all and effective institutions, as well as other Goals. The Advisory Group will also shape the objectives and design of the Business for SDGs Lab which is planned for June 2019.
