UNDP key partner in new commitment of Citi and Citi Foundation on addressing youth unemployment

Citi and Citi Foundation are expanding their global Pathways to Progress initiative with UNDP among the key partners. The Pathways to Progress initiative, which includes UNDP’s Youth Co:Lab, aims to equip young people with skills and confidence, while also providing them employment opportunities.  

By 2023, Citi will have invested USD $300 million across the world and will have impacted the lives of more than a million young people. Among other things, Citi plans to engage thousands of employees as volunteers and create in-house work experience programs.

In Asia and the Pacific, through Youth Co:Lab, a project co-led  by UNDP and Citi Foundation, the initiative will establish a common agenda for countries in the region to empower and invest in youth, to faster achieve  the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship.
